There are many military vehicle collectors around the country, and even some who bring their vehicles to reenactments. The California Historical Group is very fortunate to have the largest group of vehicle owners who participate at our events. The CHG is the only organization on the west coast to stage massive full on armor and infantry battles; with both the Allied and Axis sides coming with a full assortment of tanks, halftracks, trucks, jeeps and motorcycles.

Just as the individual reenactor puts a high degree of effort and time into making their impression the most accurate possible, it is no different for the vehicle owner. Because these vehicles no longer exists outside of a musuem, our members and thier units have remodeled, reworked and rewelded their vehicles to make them as near exact as the day they appeared on the battlefield during World War II.

The vehicles which come to CHG events are fully operational, they move about the battlefield areas, they fire, and are an integral part of the reenactments themselves.
